Ken was born and raised in a bilingual home (Japanese) here in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is passionate about movement and the human body. This led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at Azusa Pacific University and a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. TRIO is an integrative neuro-musculoskeletal clinic that incorporates a hybrid approach on treating nerves, muscles, and joints; hence TRIO. We combine chiropractic adjustments, sports medicine, and corrective rehab to find pain relief. |

Cynthia Arnold is the Vice President of Senior Move Managers and De-Clutter Hawaii. These companies help clients to de-clutter and downsize their homes to either move or age in place. Cynthia has a wealth of knowledge in this area and has helped to grow this company dramatically over the last 10 years. Prior to working with Senior Move Managers, she was the Marketing and Fundraising Manager with the American Diabetes Association as well as a Catering Manager with Ala Moana Hotel. After 20 years of coaching tennis at St. Andrew’s Priory and Sacred Hearts Academy, she retired last year to spend more time with her daughter Alexis and her schools needs. Through all these experiences, Cynthia has gained valuable skills that she currently uses today, including problem solving, organizing people and events, patience and providing excellent customer service |

lex Teece is the Chief Education Officer and one of the original founders of DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach public charter school. He is responsible for overseeing the academic, organizational, and financial performance of the school, working closely with the school team, the school governing board, and the DreamHouse nonprofit to ensure student and school success. Alex holds masters degrees from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, the University of Rochester, and Harvard University, and earned a doctorate in educational leadership from UH Manoa in July 2020 with his dissertation focusing on starting new charter schools in Hawai’i. BIO: Lisa Kimura is the Vice President of Community Impact at Aloha United Way; overseeing the statewide 211 helpline and working to develop systems-level change within the health and human services sector. In this role, she incorporates community data and social determinants of health; utilizing a collective impact framework alongside over 300 partner agencies and organizations.
Lisa serves a leading role coordinating Aloha United Way's Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Educated (ALICE) initiative to reduce financial hardship in Hawaii, bringing together nonprofit agencies, coalitions, and government partners to improve economic self-sufficiency and reduce disparities. Lisa is currently managing collective impact efforts and over $50 million in grants to enhance the social services safety net and provide emergency rental and utility assistance to Hawaii residents. Lisa has a passion for improving public health and economic stability. She has a background in communications, public policy, and social justice advocacy and has worked in both the nonprofit sector and in corporate communications, where she has lead local, national, and international marketing and outreach campaigns. Lisa previously led Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, a statewide nonprofit organization that advocates and provides programs and services for maternal and child health in Hawaii, and hosted a social justice advocacy show on ThinkTech Hawaii, focused on gender and racial equity and reproductive health. She has conducted statewide health needs assessments for the Department of Health; developed the Piko Pals new parent support program; implemented a statewide infant mortality prevention program; and advocated for legislative policy on paid family leave, livable wages, child care, gender equality, codification of the Affordable Care Act into state law, and the establishment of the Maternal Mortality Review panel in Hawaii. Daniel Chun is the Hawai’i director of sales, community and public relations for Alaska Airlines. He leads the airline’s sales, marketing, public affairs, and community outreach efforts throughout the state of Hawai’i. Daniel has nearly two decades of experience in Hawai’i’s tourism industry, starting at the Hawai’i Visitors and Convention Bureau, where he helped to develop international travel to the Islands. He then served for seven years as the special assistant to the State of Hawai’i’s governor-appointed tourism liaison, where he coordinated with government agencies and the visitor industry on tourism-related matters. Prior to joining Alaska, Daniel was the executive director of the Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation, an umbrella organization for the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festive. In 2019, he was appointed to the Hawai’i Tourism Authority Board of Directors by Hawai’i Governor David Ige. Daniel was born and raised in Honolulu, and is a graduate of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, with a Bachelor of Science degree in travel industry management. He studied commercial aviation and obtained his private pilot license from Honolulu Community College and the University of North Dakota. In the community, he currently serves on the board of Public Schools of Hawai’i Foundation, Hawai’i Lodging & Tourism Association, Diamond Head Theatre and the University of Hawai’i Alumni Association, and is a member of Hawai’i Foodbank Alaka’I, Sales & Marketing Executives of Honolulu, Hawai’i Society of Business Professionals, and the Hawai’i Venture Capital Association. |
