The annual event, which was cofounded by James Beard Award-winning chefs Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, will take place on three islands — Maui, Hawaii Island and Oahu — from Oct. 13 through Nov. 5. More than 90 chefs will participate in this year's event. The festival aims to support local agriculture and requires all participating chefs to create a dish using at least one locally sourced ingredient from Hawaii's farmers, ranchers or fishermen. |
