Ode to Gil Fujiyoshi by Wes Fong

ODE TO GILBERT FUJIYOSHI

Gil Fujiyohi, a fellow Rotarian and good friend was he,
A poet laureate he was soon to be.
With a pleasant smile and calm demeanor,
One would always enjoy his witty prose and unique humor.

A devoted husband and father and competent appraiser,
We will miss his kind friendship as a Rotary brother.
And although he has gone to be with our Almighty Maker in Heaven,
We will never forget him …our good friend and fellow Rotarian.
