Jana Stern is the Director of Graduate Admissions and Admissions Operations at Hawai'i Pacific University. Jana leads Graduate Admissions on strategic and operational activities, focusing on nurturing cross education - industry alliances and partnerships, creating new access for working professionals to pursue their educational goals while working to advance their career. Prior to joining HPU in 2020, Jana was the Director of the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. School of Business’s Graduate Programs Office at University of Missouri-Columbia. She has 20 years of experience in higher education from five universities in five U. S. time zones, primarily working on collaborations that bridge business and education. She is a returning home again Hawaiian and graduate of the Kamehameha Schools, Kapālama campus.
Jana holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Washington University and an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
