May 2 Speaker is Martha Khlopin

Our meeting speaker on May 2nd is Martha Khlopin - Bio Managing Director, Get2insurance.com Martha Khlopin is the Talk Show Radio Host of, “A Medicare Moment with Martha,” which is syndicated throughout the country and airs in Hawaii for Salem Media Group, America’s leading broadcaster in talk programming. Martha’s show airs weekly on AM690 THE ANSWER and 94.3FM at 9:30am on Sundays. She is also founder and Managing Director of get2insurance.com which offers insurance planning to individuals across the country. Martha also appears on Fox affiliate Khon2’s, Living 808 program which features Martha dispensing information to help viewers navigate health insurance. Martha has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry and is a graduate of New York University. She has worked for several local health plans offering Medicare health plans to individuals, federal retirees, unions and employer groups. Martha was previously an Assistant Vice President with Bishop Trust Company. Prior to relocating to Hawaii she was a Vice-President at Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter in Manhattan. Martha has lived in Hawaii for more than 30 years, is married with two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and sailing.

Speaker for May 9 is Surita Savio

Surita Savio – Ms Savio was born in Honolulu and is the owner of Insurance Associates. Her agency specializes in insuring condominiums, townhomes and community associations. The agency was founded in 1969 by Rudy Savio, CPCU and Ms. Savio has been the owner since 1975. Ms Savio is an active member of the Community Association Institute (CAI). CAI is a national organization dedicated to providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern their community. Ms. Savio is past President of Community Association Institute (CAI) Hawaii and has served on their board in different capacities since 2000. She also served as President of the Hawaii Independent Insurance Agents Association and currently serves as President for two condominiums.

Ms. Savio is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught school for six years before joining Insurance Associates.

WHR 75th Anniversary Celebration Oct 2025

WHR will be celebration the 75th Anniversary from Oct 16 - 18, 2025. The Event chair and committees are working very hard to craft a spectacular celebration for this milestone.

All members and families are invited to attend along with our 6 Sister Clubs' members and spouses, they are Tokyo West, Kyoto West, Taipei West, Hong Kong Island West, Makati West and Nagoya Airport.
