Who: Alex Teece
Chief Education Officer and Founder of DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach Public Charter School
Bio: Alex Teece is the Chief Education Officer and one of the original founders of DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach public charter school. He is responsible for overseeing the academic, organizational, and financial performance of the school, working closely with the school team, the school governing board, and the DreamHouse nonprofit to ensure student and school success. Alex holds masters degrees from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, the University of Rochester, and Harvard University, and earned a doctorate in educational leadership from UH Manoa in July 2020 with his dissertation focusing on starting new charter schools in Hawai’i.

Description: Alex will give a presentation about DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach public charter school – what’s makes them unique, and what they are doing to protect keiki from covid-19 as they return to the classroom.
