Please join us for our lunch mtg. at the Plaza Club on Friday, May 4 and meet Justine Espiritu, Grants and Program Manager, Bikeshare Hawaii.

Justine Espiritu earned her Bachelor of Arts in Historical and Political Studies and Psychology from Chaminade University and a Masters of Arts in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Justine has worked on clean transportation projects relating to electric vehicles, biodiesel, diesel retrofits, and bikeshare with Federal, State, nonprofit, and transportation stakeholders in Hawaii since 2010. Ms. Espiritu oversaw the Kailua based pilot bikeshare project, helping a team of stakeholders develop a bikeshare system framework to be expanded statewide, and has developed proposals for capital improvement, community outreach, and program funding, focusing on bringing the community-building benefits of bikeshare to urban Honolulu. Integrating Biki as an efficient, fun, and affordable transportation option within the existing transportation system is the heart of Justine’s efforts to improve Hawaii’s quality of life.
