We have a group of 14 delegation, Elvira Lo, Terry Lo, Betty and James Brow, Gordon and Lana Au, Ron and Sylvia Young, Kevin Sakamoto, Glen Suzuki, Derek Tann, Mike Kato, Jeff Pang, Malissa Pang going to the Hong Kong Island West 70th Anniversary Celebration. The event and program starts on 4/11 all day, 4/12 full day, 4/13 Farewell lunch , and dinner at The Chinese Club for Hong Kong Island West and West Honolulu Rotary members and spouses. Welcome dinner at the Craigengower Cricket Club along with their 4 sister Clubs. Taipei West, Manila Downtown, Malaysia, Shanghai, serving Roast Goose and other Cantonese Gourmet 9 course meal. Visiting their community service project Food Angel kitchen facilities, cooked 20,000 meals per day serving the under privileged elderly and families with children. All private funded non profit operation, collecting un used raw material food and deliver to the center, cooked packaged and deliver to homes, all meals are free of charge. HKIWR donated HK$300,000 this anniversary year to the center. |
