Our club agreed to again participate in the Thanksgiving project with Pacific Gateway Center. Thank you to Wes Fong, Bill Loo, PDG Naomi, and President Glen, went to distribute the Walmart gift cards to clients at the Umi Street facility. As we heard from Deputy Director Terrina Wong, PGC serves refugees, immigrants, under served population and most recently Ukrainian refugees and Maui fire victims. This is the 4th year in providing a Thanksgiving holiday gift. Rather than a traditional Thanksgiving meal, we were informed that the clients would prefer Walmart gift cards to purchase items needed.
